Coming Up Roses

Maybe I have roses on my mind with Valentine’s Day on the horizon, but I can’t seem to put down my Rose Marigold Floral Water by Fresh. This elixir has been a bathroom staple of mine for years, and I seem to have tripled the ways I use it lately.

The gentle formula is calming and soothing, and smells fantastic – in fact, the scent of roses is mood-enhancing. All products in the Fresh line are made with natural ingredients, and this product contains no sulfates, synthetic fragrances or dyes. I spray it on my face after I wash it to balance out my skin, or throughout the day when I need some extra hydration. I also spray it on areas that have been freshly tweezed or waxed to calm irritation and lessen any redness. If I feel like I need a pick-me-up after a long day in the office I’ll spray this on in place of perfume, and give my hair a little spritz as well.

A little back story for you: Rose water is a by-product made when producing rose oil, carrying with it a beautiful scent and natural healing properties. It is rich in vitamin C and vitamin A and it has antioxidants that help to get rid of tired skin and give you a glowing complexion. Rose is a natural astringent with anti-inflammatory qualities, as well as being excellent for hydrating and rejuvenating the skin. So you see? I am onto something here!
